Myofascial Release

Through sustained pressure to connective tissue (fascia), you experience release, increased mobility and circulation, decreased pain, and a sense of space in your body.

Trigger Point

A trigger point is an area of increased tension within the connective tissues, which can create pain either directly or indirectly. I deactivate the point and decrease its ability to re-form.

The surface of the foot contains up to 200,000 nerve endings, which can affect every aspect of your health. I use point pressure on the foot to stimulate healing throughout the your entire body.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue work requires patience and focus as I use massage to move through many layers of tissue. Deep tissue should feel like a partnership – with guidance from your body – and not like an invasion.

Structural Integration

In order to realign the body, Ida Rolf would use a series of sessions. This technique, similar to rolfing, involves deep, slow manipulation and movement re-education to unwind the strain patterns in your body, increase postural awareness and give you a sense of lift.

Zero Balancing

Zero Balancing (ZB) is a hands on body work system designed to align your energy body with your physical structure. Simple yet powerful, it focuses on your whole person, even when addressing specific needs. Considered the leading edge of body/mind therapies, ZB moves beyond Western scientific approaches to body structure by incorporating Eastern concepts of energy and healing.
